The Almirante Paulo Moreira Award was created in 2003 to recognize the best student presentations at BIOINC meetings. The best original research poster produced by a student during their academic training will be recognized this year. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in a graduate program (master's or doctoral) or have completed their degree within the last six months. The advisor may submit the abstract for the award, but the student must be the first author and attend the poster session to answer the examiners' questions.
